MIXED GROUP CLASSES

Women and Men. Different Ages. One Supportive Training Community.

A PLACE FOR EVERYONE TO TRAIN

Beginner-friendly Filipino martial arts classes for women and men of different ages, backgrounds and fitness levels.

Adults of all ages are welcome, including younger adults, middle-aged students and seniors.

No previous martial arts experience is required.

Students train at their own level while remaining part of one respectful and supportive group.

The focus is personal progress, not competing with the person beside you.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Footwork, balance, coordination, body shifting and effective positioning.

Single-stick and introductory double-stick foundations taught progressively and responsibly.

Empty-hand striking, defensive movement and close-range applications.

Timing, distance, awareness and adaptable responses across different situations.

Practical self-defence principles, including judgement, restraint and legal responsibility.

The history, values and cultural roots of Eskrima, Arnis and Kali.

WHAT TRAINING BUILDS

Confidence, focus, discipline and greater trust in your own movement.

Improved coordination, reflexes, fitness and body awareness.

Calmer decision-making and the ability to stay present under pressure.

Resilience, humility and the willingness to keep learning.

HOW CLASSES ARE TAUGHT

Clear, step-by-step instruction with strong foundations before greater complexity.

Controlled partner work centred on safety, respect and responsibility.

Training can be adapted for different bodies, abilities and learning styles where safe participation is possible.

Questions are welcome and students are never shamed for needing more time or explanation.
